$30 Entry Fee includes $15 Venue fee which also covers all Computer time during the Tournament, as well as time to setup before the event. The other $15 goes to the Prize-pool.

Tournament registrants who want to  practice before/after the tournament are eligible for the tournament day-pass promotion for $10 ($42 regular).


Event Description

League of Legends In Person Tournament
Part of OverKlocked’s Solo/Duo Que Series!!!

Sign-up by yourself or with a friend! Meet new people who are into League and compete to win it all!

Teams will be created by a random drawing. If there are not enough players to make a complete team, the players who registered first will be given priority to compete, and if there is an odd number of players, the last players to register will be refunded and unfortunately unable to compete.

After players are paired with their teams they will have 1 hour to talk to each other, get setup and play a practice game together before the tournament begins.

A maximum of 40 players or 8 teams will be eligible to compete.
In the event of there being 2 teams of 4 and only a duo remaining the duo will have to be split up to fill both teams. This will be determined by which duo was the last to register.

Tournament may take 6 or more hours to complete.

Pre-Registration is available in person at OverKlocked (Payment is required for registration). Registration is also available the day of the event until the tournament is full.

Tournament Structure

Instead of the classic Double Elimination, this tournament will be a Swiss Format (Round Robin if there are not enough teams)
This will allow teams to play a lot of different competitors and get a number of games against different team arrangements, will proving a route back to winning it all if you start off with an unfavorable match!

In Swiss each round will consist of 1 game against the opposing team

In Round Robin each round will consist of 2 games against the opposing team

Game Mode – Standard
Teams will Rock Paper Scissors to decide who picks Map.
Winner of the RPS will ban 1 map, then the other team will until 4 maps are removed from the pool.
The Team that won RPS now chooses from the remaining maps which they would like to play
After they Select the Map the other team gets to choose what side they start on.

Tournament Rules

No Ghosting. This is a Live-Event if people are attempting to get an advantage by having friends/players inform them of the others teams moves/plans the team will be immediately disqualified.

Be Courteous – The tournament Admins reserves the right to eject a player/team if they are being abusive to any other player.
Matches must be reported as soon as they are finished.
Players & Teams not on time for their match risk being disqualified.

FAQ

Can we Bring our own Equipment?

  • OverKlocked provides high quality equipment at all our gaming stations, so it is not necessary to bring your own gear. However if you want to use your own headset/mouse/keyboard we have USB Hubs at the computers to allow you to connect and use your own stuff.

Can I bring my Monitor?

  • No. This is a major hazard and all our Monitors are 144hz.

Can I pre-register online?

  • Yes you may, send us an email at contact@overklocked.com and we can send you a PayPal invoice to register online, (online registrations will include an additional $3 processing fee per registration)

I’m not sure if I can make it, should I still sign up?

  • No, if you are not sure you can make it do not sign up as this would result in us having uneven team numbers and the team you were placed on  being unable to play.
